Applefest: September 10-12, 2010 on St. Lawrence Grounds

The following are the Applefest Tracking Procedures for ALL FALL Athletic Families:

Step 1:
Sign up weekends starting after ALL masses @ St. Lawrence. YOU MUST SIGN UP IN PERSON!! NO registration will be taken over the phone or email! Being a non-member of St. Lawrence Parish does NOT exclude you from signing up in person. If your child(ren) play for St. Lawrence Athletics, especially for the Fall season, this is part of your commitment to the program. Sign up for any two (2) available 4-hour shifts of your choosing. A new option this year is to work take-down on Sunday Night from 7 PM – 1 AM (6 hours). This will fulfill your entire commitment, too. The post card you sign up with will be mailed back to you as both a reminder of your shifts AND used for verification of you working your shifts. (more about this below). Again, NO over-the-phone or email registration will be taken. Please plan on attending any mass of your choosing at St. Lawrence Parish starting to sign up for your 2 shifts!! (Mass times: Sat: 4:30 PM, Sun, 8, 10, 12).

Step 2:

During the Applefest weekend of September 10 - 12, 2010, before the time of your assigned shifts, please proceed to the Volunteer Booth to sign-in. This booth is located at the corner of the big red tent closest to the Rectory. This Sign-in is important! Also, you must bring the card that was sent to you in the mail with your shift on it to the Applefest. This card MUST be signed by the chairperson in the area you worked, (all chairman are aware of this task). This is used to verify your 2-shift participation at the Applefest. DO NOT give the signed card to the chairman. If you chair an area at the Applefest, this will automatically fill the commitment. If you do setup (Wed/Thurs), or break-down (Sun) make sure you sign-in with main chair-person. There are 350+ athletic families to track this year, so please follow these procedures.

ALL must turn in signed cards to get credit for working their (2) 4-hour shifts!

Step 3:
Take the signed postcard and drop it into one of the Athletic boxes that will be in the

Main Tent Sign-in or Children's Tent Sign-in or Kitchen or Vegas Sign-in or Pub

It is your responsibility to get the signed shift cards into the boxes, NOT the chairperson!

Failure to work the required (2) two4-hour shifts (or take down Sunday night), will result in $150 non-participation fee, and having your child(ren) not being able to participate in games until the fee is paid
